My name is Jacob Strandgaard Andersen, and I am a legal freelancer. I provide interim legal support and consultancy to in-house legal teams, claims teams, law firms, small, medium and large sized companies.
MY STORY
I am a highly skilled and diverse legal professional with many years experience in Denmark and abroad.
In 2022, I started as self-employed after 25 years of being employed in small and large companies, and law firms.
My experience covers many of the legal tasks organisations are facing while doing business world wide. It does not makes a difference if I advise a CEO or any other level in the organisation - if you work with me you will quickly see that I am an efficient problem solver.
WHAT I DO
Contract advise
Review, improve and negotiate sales contract, supplier contracts, general terms and conditions etc.
Claims handling and litigation support
I can provide you an overview of a large portfolio of cases and start handling them from day one.
Assignments at a glance...
- Sentia Denmark A/S After an interim full time assignment, covering for a colleague on maternity leave I have stayed on as a consultant three days a week. The main areas of work are legal support to sales, negotiations of contracts, litigation management, harmonization, management advice, and support and development of legal compliance.
- Maersk Drilling During a transition phase I was hired as a consultant for four months to assist with the renewal of an insurance portfolio, in addition to advising the legal team and the business on insurance related issues.
- A.P. Moeller Maersk During a colleague's paternity leave I worked 10 weeks in an interim capacity in Maersk Insurance , where I provided ad hoc assisance, including advice to the business, contract review and underwrting service.
